Belle's Story Virtual Run Challenge

What is a Virtual Run Challenge?

Belle’s Story is organising a virtual run challenge during the month of September 2019 for you to help raise crucial funds for our charity.  Please join us and challenge yourself at the same time!

A virtual race is a race that can be run at any pace (or walked) from wherever you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, in your preferred location, at your own pace, and time it yourself. And your medal will be posted directly to you. Complete a virtual 5K, 10K, half marathon and more!

We encourage participants to race, whenever and wherever you want to. You can even walk if you like, as long as you complete the distance, you would have earned your medal.  We send out your exclusively designed Belle's Story medal and a certificate highlighting your distance achieved and you can give yourself a big pat on the back! There are so many ways to take part.  Be it running, walking, cycling, in a wheelchair, swimming or even running with a buggy.

Challenge yourself and raise funds

The cost to enter the Belle's Story challenge race is £12.50 and at least £5 from this goes to Belle's Story charity to both provide support for young people with life-changing conditions and to raise awareness of organ donation.

Once you've signed up and paid to enter the challenge, then run your race at your pace with whoever you choose.  The race period for you to complete your challenge is 1st - 30th September

2019.

We will keep a leaderboard visible on the website that we will add you too once we have reviewed your results.  You upload proof that you have completed the race using app screenshots, such as Fitbit and Garmin or display park run stats and we then send you a Belle's Story custom designed finisher’s medal and a certificate in the post.  The certificate will include the details of how far you raced.

We will mail you your finisher’s medal at the end of the race period.

You don't have to submit results to get a medal. However, we do encourage all participants to submit the results of their races to be part of our leaderboard, along with a photo we can post in our  Photo Galleries.  At the end of the race period, we ship medals to everyone who registered including those who never submitted their results, so if you don’t complete your run by then, you’ll still get your medal.

We are committed to giving at least £5 from each registration made to Belle's Story. These donations apply to all registrations, including any discounted ones and even the ones we give away for free via contests on our Facebook page. Every single person who participates in our virtual race is making a difference.

Please complete the entry form as soon as possible so that we can make sure we order enough medals by the end of the race period.  Entry will remain open until 15th September 2019
