The Charity
We are a new charity made up of a fabulous group of four trustees and a huge network of volunteers. We are family and friends of Belle, who inspired us and touched our hearts with her generosity; helping others when she was dealing with so much herself.
Belle’s Story is Belle’s lasting legacy, following her wish to raise awareness of organ donation and supporting young people with life-limiting illnesses.
Belle
Belle is our inspiration and the reason Belle’s Story Charity exists. Trailblazing, creative, fun-loving and adventurous are all words to describe Belle. Belle received so many awards for her positivity, courage and zest for life – she was recognised by so many as being one of life’s rare, shining stars and her values underpin all the wonderful work carried out by Belle’s Story – her legacy.

Skylar is our cheeky, lively and excitable unicorn mascot!
Look out for her at events! She loves a selfie opportunity!
Trustees
Stella
Stella is Belle’s mum and chairperson for the charity. She works tirelessly for Belle’s Story, overseeing everything; organising events, liaising with volunteers and other organisations and, most importantly, actioning the magical dreams granted by the charity.
Alli
Alli is a Pembrokeshire-born GP, based in Cardiff, and a very special member of the Team Belle committee. Alli was the first person in the UK to have all her major organs replaced and received a special recognition ‘Pride of Britain’ award in 2010. Alli was a special friend to Belle and is now a key trustee for Belle’s charity.
Sophie
Sophie is the secretary for Belle’s Story and first met Belle in the summer of 2011. Sophie has always been involved with Belle’s Story, since the earliest days when Belle herself was involved with fundraising and key events. Sophie helped to register Belle’s story as a charity in 2019.
Andy
Andy is treasurer for Belle’s Story and has been a trustee since the charity was registered in 2019. It was after a chat with Andy that Belle really committed to working towards having a charity in her name, helping children like her. Andy is a keen fundraiser and offers a huge amount of experience to the charity as a trustee.
Team Belle
Team Belle is an ever-growing group of fantastic volunteers who work hard to make Belle’s Story the charity that it is today. Anyone can join Team Belle – you just need to have a passion to take part and make a difference!

We also have runners who run marathons, business owners who sponsor us and MANY Belle’s Story volunteers who give up their time to help us in lots of ways.
Mini Team Belle
Mini Team Belle is our group of amazing young volunteers who donate their time to organise events and support Belle’s Story charity in achieving its aims.
Many are Belle’s loyal friends, but any enthusiastic youngsters are welcome to get involved.
Mini Team Belle volunteers have helped to arrange Easter Bingo events, they’ve organised Christmas Fayre competitions and even scaled a castle tower by participating in a sponsored abseil – they really are superstars!
